Second edition of BACIF (2017) was in November 2017, the same place, with 80 participants from Poland, France, Cyprus, Greece, Finland, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine. With five plenary lectures, sixteen oral presentations and fifty nine posters, the conference was once again great opportunity to present and see the scientific work on the field of food and its biologically important components.
First BACIF (2015) conference took place in October 2015. with more than 80 participants from Poland, Cyprus, Greece, Finland, France, Algeria, Turkey, Iran and Brazil. Topics of four plenary lectures, twelve short oral presentations and 68 posters covered various aspects of biological activity if food: from allergenicity, through antioxidant properties to safety issues. It was opportunity to exchange knowledge and to see the complicity of aspects linked to biological compounds present in food products.
